- Siddhartha was born in Nepal(near India)He was a Prince and Lived a wealthy and luxurious life. His father was a King. Siddhartha was given everything he wanted.
- Yes but you have to practice our ways. We are the ascetics!
- Siddhartha’s father shielded him from the truth about life, death, suffering. A prophet/fortune teller said that he would be a holy man, but his father wanted him to be a King/ruler. As a result he led Siddhartha away from anything unpleasant or heartbreaking.

- He went out of the castle without the guards. He joined a group called the ascetics where they stopped eating and sleeping, to put him in other people's shoes...
- He was on the verge of death when he decided to leave the ascetics, and mediate. He meditated for 40 something days looking through his past lives. When he figures out the way to live.
- He came out of this perfect state of life just to help others end their suffering. Now it is the ultimate goal to reach this perfect enlightened state, or also called Nirvana.
