  • Tybalt and Romeo meet and Tybalt expresses his anger for Romeo trying to get involved with his family.
  • Tybalt talks to Romeo expressing his feelings toward what Romeo did when he was inside the Capulet house.
  • Romeo, the hate I bear thee can afford No better term than this, --thou art a villain.
  • Romeo expresses that he has great love and he says you do not know me for I am no villain.
  • Tybalt, the reason that I must love thee Doth many excuses the appertaining rage To such a greeting: villain am I none. Therefore farewell: I see thou knowest me not.
  • I do protest, I never injured thee, But love thee better than thou canst devise, Till thou shalt know the reason of my love: And so, good Capulet, --which name I tender As dearly as my own, --be satisfied.
  • Tybalt says that this does not excuse his injury. While Romeo cries I never Injured you and that I think you are worthy
  • Boy, this shall not excuse the injuries That thou hast done me; therefore, turn and draw.

  • Mercutio Romeo's friend comes in upset at Romeo for not fighting and wants to fight Tybalt.
