  • Hello! This is Dave the dog and his owner Joe. Dave is a super genius dog but Joe doesn't know about; (Which is why Joe isn't a super genius.) Dave wants to go out on a walk so Joe is here to take him. Whemever they go out, Dave likes to stop and growl at the animals or thats what Joe thinks. He's actually just always doing math. It's a gift and a curse. Here are his adventures
  • Dave the Dog is walking with his owner, Joe, when he suddenly sees a cat sleeping on a tree. Because Dave the dog is a super genius, he figures out he's 7 feet away from the tree and looking at the cat at a 78-degree angle. Due to his super geniusness, he decided to use trigonometry and he finds out that the equation he should be using is tan (78) * 7 = 32.9So, the dumb cat is 33 feet high. Hes a super genius not a super dog.

  • The super genius dog, Dave, goes home with his owner and sees a bird taunting him. He decides to use his awesome trig skills to figure out how far away the evil bird is. He finds out that he is 4 feet away from the tree and looking at him at a 96-degree angle. So, using the same equation from before but replacing the variables, tan (48) * 4. He plugged the equation into his super genius dog brain and came up with the answer of 4.4. The height of the tree was 4.4 feet tall so he was getting closer but still a little to far from the tree.

  • Dave had ran off from their backyard as he had seen a rat This suprised Joe and he was stunned for a bit before he could go and chase after Dave. He had gained a bit of distance but he was able to follow him until he could get the collar back on Dave.
  • So Dave figures out that the dog is 7 feet above him and 16 feet away from him. He know needs to find out the angle he is looking at the rat at. He figures out the equation he should be using is tan-1*tan(x)=tan-1(7/16). He uses the tan-1 to cancel out tan(x) and what is remaining is tan-1(7/16). The final result is 23.63. He is looking up at the nasty evil rat at a 23.63 degree angle.
  • I will find where you live.

  • Dave finally gave up on her adventure and began to walk back home, forcing her owner to follow. She was exhausted as she laid down on the couch with Joe.
