On the street bleeding

- "Help me"(Hunter 1).
- "Thats for you Royal" (Hunter 1).
- Was joining the Royals the right thing to do?

-  "Automobile tires hushed on the rain wept streets...the faint sound of music...he heard footsteps at the other end of the alley"(Hunter 1-2).
- "Would Laura be angry" (Hunter 1).
- "I gotta good mind to call a cop"(Hunter 2).

- 11:13 - "The knife entered just below his ribcage and had been drawn across his body violently" (Hunter 1).Andy, a 16 year old, had just been stabbed. He fell to the floor clutching his stomach in relief the knife was pulled away. Being apart of the Royal's made Andy a target to other gangs. This time it was a "Guardian" who exclaimed it was meant for him. 
- "I'm Andy, I'm Andy"(Hunter 6).
- As Andy laid in the rain he started to hear other noises such as music that lead him to wonder, "would Laura be angry"(Hunter 1). He started to think of her face, eyes and hair; he didn't know if he would ever see her again, or if they would have a future together. These thoughts lead to the rise of an internal conflict between Andy and whether or not joining the Royals was a good decision.
- "Andy,its me Laura"(Hunter 7).
- A drunk man wandered down an alley and stumbled across Andy. The drunk man offered him a drink but Andy couldn't respond. The drunk man thought Andy was also drunk, so he decided to not rat him out to the police. However, Andy was trying to tell him to, but could not due to his wound. Away he went, leaving Andy.
- "A Royal, huh"(Hunter 7).

- "His name is Andy"(Hunter 7).
- Andy started to wonder what was the meaning of being a Royal? If everyone saw him as Andy would he have been stabbed? He constantly thought about this, after seeing that no one would stop to help him. He didn't want people to look at him as a Royal, or just because he was a Royal. Furthermore, he took off the jacket and got as far away as he could from it. He wanted to be known as ANDY and not a Royal. 
-  A minute past midnight Laura left the dance to find Andy, only to find him dead in front of the the alley doorway. Laura sprung into tears and started running, until she found a cop. When Laura and the cop got back, the cop pronounced Andy dead due to the amount of blood loss.
- All the crying was out of Laura, staring at the purple jacket beside Andy. The cop picked up the jacket and remarked, "A Royal, huh" not even knowing his name after Laura replied, "His name is Andy (Hunter 7). The cop then "took out his black pad, and he flipped it open to a blank page" then he began writing "A Royal" (Hunter 7).
