Prison Reform of 1841 to 1887, how prisons became fairBy Daniel Conlon
Hi, I'm Dorthea Dix, a woman from Boston, and wow these prisons are really bad, people are in chains and cages, there's kids in here with adult criminals and mentally ill people who need special care. This is cruel and unusual, we really need to fix this. Also putting debtors in jail isn't fair either.
I made a report that I'm going to give to the Massachusetts state legislature, it details all I've realized about cruel imprisonment
About Half Of A Lifetime Later....
Im dying and stuff, but at least i accomplished basically all i wanted, there is now private asslyms in most states, debtors and children are out of jail, and prisons are more fair overall.
ok
Wow that actually worked really well, I'm gonna go do this with other states too, random Legislator Guy! (There isn't another person mentioned in the prison reform)
