- Vygotsky believed that all humans were born with 4 elementary mental functions. Attention, Sensation, Perception, and Memory. Attention: Kayla see the BasketballSensation: Kayla Grabs the BasketballPerception: Kayla shots the BasketballMemory: Kayla remembers winning the big game

- The 3 Zones: the first zone contains thing we can do on our own. the second zone (zone of proximal development (ZPD)). The ZPD is what children can do without help and what children can do with the guidance of another person when the skills or task is close to the current developmental level of the child. The third and final is the thing we cant do yet
