- Julius Caesar is about a conspiracy to kill Caesar in Rome who in real life was rumoured to be assassinated and was a leader of Rome in Ancient Rome.
- Julius Caesar is a play written by the Renaissance playwright, William Shakespeare (1564-1616). He is a globally famous artist and has written many poems and plays. He was born in Stratford upon Avon and most of his plays during his lifetime were performed by all men in Globe Theatres.

- In this scene, a crowd follows Caesar at the feast of Lupercal and Mark Antony is running in the race. A Soothsayer warns Caesar about the Ides of March. Cassius and Brutus, two senators, discuss what's been bothering Brutus. Brutus is worried that Caesar will not be a good leader of Rome. Cassius has the same doubts and tries to manipulate Brutus into joining his conspiracy. Caesar is offered the crown thrice and thrice declined.

- This man is now a god, and Cassius is but a wretched creature.and must bend his body if Caesar carelessly but nod at him.

- In this scene, Brutus has been up all night worrying and trying to decide about whether it is the best solution to kill Caesar or not. He eventually decides it's the best thing to do for Rome and meets the co- conspirators in his orchard late at night. Cassius want to kill Antony too but Brutus says he won't hurt them and that it would ruin the nobility of their cause. They take not an oath, but promise to do this and not betray each other for Rome and not to ruin the nobility of their actions af
- At Julius Caesar's funeral the day after the conspirators killed him, Brutus makes a speech to the people of Rome saying why he killed Caesar and that it was for the good of them and Rome. He left after he gained the crowd's support. Then Antony gave a speech undermining Brutus and the crowd switched to his side. He encouraged them to riot and attack the conspirators.
