- William ordered his kinghts to go forward on their horses and destroy the Saxons. It was all out warfare.
- To make Harold's army get off the top of the hill, William ordered his army to make his knights run away as if they were retreating.
- Soon the shield wall became weaker and weaker. And William ordered he archers to fire again. An arrow hit king Harold in the eye and he was killed. William has won and he was the next king of England.
