A law made by the british creating an invisible line along the appalachain mountains that colonists were not allowed to cross. They did this in hopes that it would limit the conflict between the natives and the colonists.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE'S A TAX ON THE TEA?
The sugar and stamp acts were taxes imposed by the british to be able to fund soldiers coming to the colonies. They lowered the sugar tax, but enforced it more harshly, and started taxing legal documents, newspapers, playing cards, and dice.
Boston Massacre
The colonists were upset about the sugar and stamp acts so they protested the acts by rioting in the streets. They were upset about these taxes because british law stated that people who did not have representation in parliment could not be taxed.
Boston Tea Party
Taxes imposed by the british on glass, paper, paint, lead, and tea. Colonists responded with boycotts of the items, mock hangings of british officials, and formed the sons and daughters of liberty.
There's a tax on the tea.
British soldiers were sent to Boston to protect costums officials, colonists were angered by this. Colonists protested the British soldiers being in Boston which lead to the British firing shots and killing 5 people.
