Storyboard Text
- The highwayman came riding down the moonlight-lit road.
- He arrives at the old inn to meet the landlord's daughter, Bess.
- Tim the ostler, who is in love with Bess, listens to their conversation before the highwayman leaves.
- I'll come to thee by moonlight, though hell should bar the way.
- An armed red coat troop comes marching to the old inn at sunset the following day.
- Bess is gagged and bound by the foot of her bed, awaiting the arrival of the highwayman.
- The highwayman is killed by the troop when he is coming back to see if bess is okay
- Bess shoots herself with a nearby musket in order to warn the highwayman.
