- America has been through a lot like the Civil War and the Reconstruction Era, the three amendments coming up will soon change America
- Here is before the Reconstruction Era, there were slaves doing work for the Confederates and going through racial issues. The next 4 slides happen during the Reconstruction Era.

- Hey guys! The 13th Amendment abolished slavery so were all free!
- Yep... y'all are freed

- Hey man, did you know that they added the 14th amendment which makes all males including former slaves guaranteed citizenship and equal protection of the law?
- When will we ever become citizens of the United States?
- Hey didn't you hear? They passed the 15th amendment which gives all male citizens of any race or color the right to vote!

- I wish we could vote, but they haven't made a law for where we can vote
- Whites
- HEY GO OVER THERE!
- Blacks
- Now African Americans are facing the Jim Crow laws which separate whites from blacks at places like bathrooms or water fountains
- I guess people will never change
