- the social and political system where the King and Queen ruled and had control over everything. privileged people did not pay taxes and were treated well, and the unprivileged people payed taxes and were treated poorly. Their subject started to criticize them.
- Tennis Court Oath
- Citizens of the the kingdom started to riot over bread and the rises of the food, also because of the very high unemployment which made taxes higher and harder to pay. The spread of enlightenment ideas encouraged them to try and win in-dependency like america did from great Britain.

- The three estate meet up and come too a conclusion to make a new constitution that makes sense and that is equal to everyone
- Storming of the Bastille
- King Louis and the other 2 estates meet but they lock out the 3rd estate out of the meeting and the 3rd estate meets on a near by tennis court and there the 3rd estates creates the National Assembly.
- This declared that everyone has basic that cannot be taken away. Louis XV did not want a written constitution his plans was too use military force against the national Assembly and the new reached Paris on July 14th, 1789 and from there people stormed too Bastille.
- When the lower class stormed Bastille because they were angry and they in search of large quantities of arm and ammunition they had also hoped too free prisoners as the Bastille's used to be a a fortress in which political prisoners were held in . This day was declared The independence day for France
