- This is Parvana's Family, they live in Afghanistan. Their family consists of father, mother, older-sister Nooria, Paravana, 5-year-old Maryam and 2-year-old Ali.
- Okay, father.
- Let's go, Parvana.
- As the Taliban has been taking over Afghanistan, women were ordered to stay at home and cover-up when going out. Children also could not go to school. But as father's leg was injured, Parvana had to help him work at the marketplace.
- How do women in burqas manage to walk along these pot holes and broken roads?
- Well, they don't. I've seen them fall down a lot, it's pretty sad...
- Father's job was to write and read letters to Afghan people, as most were illiterate. They were also there to sell unused belongings.
- We're home!
- Oh, you're back!
- As more customers had come and gone, father decided to call it a day. They gathered up all the things they were selling and started their journey back home.
- Parvana carefully guided father around all the pot holes and broken parts of the road while they both had a small conversation.
- As Parvana and father reached their home, they climbed up the half-broken stairs. And finally, after a long work day, they went inside their house.
