- When I was in college I was tight on money so I had to look for a way to find a job.I searched the web for information in hopes of finding available jobs online.Since there was a pandemic, I had to do part time jobs online.
- Falling Action
- So as I was searching, I found a job and it requires an app to access your daily tasks.The salary was 300 pesos per week, it was a good dealso I tried applying for it.Days passed and I received a message saying that I passed the application test and that I could start working today.
- Resolution
- DOUBLE CHECK BEFORE CLICKING!
- I downloaded the app I was supposed to use and opened it.It was blank. The app was blank. I tried contacting the one in charge but they said their jobs weren’t available this whole time. I had signed up for this link with my personal information only to find out that it was a fake trying to get people’s personal information.
- I contacted the police and told them about my situation and I could get in danger.
- After a week has passed, the one who put up that link was arrested for getting countless personal info from people who signed up there.I learned my lesson to double check if it is true or fake.
