- Look Lina its the rock marked with E. I found it!

- You found it! Now what's the next step? Lets finish deciphering the paper.
- Doon finds a door in the pipeworks, so he pushes it open and right there the Mayor is sleeping surrounded by stolen food and goods. The Mayor had been telling the people of Ember that he is finding the solution just to find out that his solution was for himself alone!

- I am scared Poppy will slip out of my hands!
- Clary goes over to Mrs.Murdo house and helps decipher the word “Egress” which means exit and that gets Lina to believe and convince Doon that this paper is the way out! Clary promises not to tell anyone what they have been doing.

- What's in the trees!!
- Doon finds the rock marked with “E”, but he can’t figure it all by himself he tells Lina, and while people are at the singing they explore the Pipeworks alone. Lina and Doon continue to decipher the paper and discover the Pipeworks.
- THE GIRL IN THE TREES

- Do you guys hear that?!
- Ahh! Hello, My name is Joud and I escaped Ember! Who are you guys?
- Lina, Doon, and Poppy get onto the motorboat and go down the river into complete darkness. The river is rough and they bump into the edges, then the water begins to calm down. They get to an area where they can safely leave the motorboat and put their stuff down.

- SPLASHHH
- They first experience this very bright and strong light that they have never seen before. It was beautiful to them, something magical and incredible. Then they find a framed notice that says “Refugees of Ember”, but what could that mean??
- This is beautiful!
- Lina, Doon, and Poppy continue to discover the new world that they are in and while walking in the woods they hear a noise. They are scared and don't know what to expect. Right that moment a girl appears leaving everyone shocked, but then find out that they all came from Ember!
