- Hey. I heard about this knew thing that people are buying. It's called a vape, and it is way better than smoking. You should get one with me?
- What exactly is a vape? I don't want to be doing anything to effect my health.
- A vape is an e - cigarette that contains nicotine and different flavouring to make you feel good, and is safer for your health rather than smoking.
- But nicotine is a very addictive drug, and whether it is vaping or smoking I will be damaging my lungs and body.
- You will not get addicted! Smoking cigarettes is bad for you, but vaping isn't. So you won't get a vape with me? Everyone is doing it.
- Fine. I will think about it, since I want to be cool in front of everybody. But I have to get to class now.
- Hmmmmm?
- Have you thought about getting a vape now?
- No thank you. You have to be 18 years and over to buy a vape. Also I was researching about what affects vaping can have on your body, and I want to keep my strong lungs and good health. There is not enough scientific evidence showing that vaping is good for you.
- That's great! We are both in good health and we shouldn't want to ruin it, especially since we are young. We shouldn't care about trying to impress others.
- WOW! I did not know how bad and unsafe vaping is, I won't be buying one anymore.
