- We should all watch news to be informed and aware
- Your mom is right kids, we should always be aware of our surroundings
- A fire raced through the aging, wooden buildings of a Manila orphanage, killing at least 28 people, mostly children, fire officials said. Rescuers gingerly lifted bodies of infants wrapped in blankets from the remains of the Bahay Kalinga orphanage and children’s home in the Philippines’ capital.
- Thirteen dead children were found huddled together in a storeroom in one of the cottages, where they apparently ran in an attempt to escape the blaze. City officials said faulty wiring in buildings that were more than 70 years old may have been to blame.
- One evening the house of Gabriel Family, everyone is watching news. They are listening to the news so that if ever something similar might happen they know what to do.
- Oh no! The children were trapped! That was devastating to watch
- The news is reporting the incident that happened in Bahay Kalinga Orphanage. It was stated that it happened at 2 am on December 3, 1998.
- Because of that news we should be more careful now, specially that I have you two, my children. We should prepare not only first aid kits but also an evacuation plan to follow if something bad happened.
- The Gabriel Family was shocked about the news for it was stated that more than 20 person died in the said fire.
- Protect your family!
- Always remember to be ready!
- After the news they talked about how saddening the news was. It was not just a normal fire incident for it killed children who can't even fight for their lives.
- The family was scared that something similar might happen in their house, causing them to have an evacuation plan and collect all the thing they need if ever there is an emergency.
- Starting that day the Gabriel family became always ready for emergencies and unexpected natural disasters.
