  • Motivation means the reason why the character feels and think a certain way.So when the guy said that the end semester is coming up it motivates the girl to get her work done before the end of the semester.
  • Allusion means a reference to a well-known person, place, event, literary work, or work of art. This example shows that because the mom told her daughter that she smelled like Cheshire cat.
  • Foreshadowing means the use of hints and clues to suggest what will happen later in a plot This example shows that they are going to get caught and the other robber doesn't have a good feeling about it.
