- Atticus is telling his kids and Dill to be nice and not worry about Boo Radley.
- Scout Finch
- "I hate you an' despise you, an' hope you die tomorrow!"pg.9

- Dill is talking to Jem saying he wants to stay with his Aunt Rachel and he doesn't care if it's hot in the summer.
- Calpurnia
- "Change into a clean blouse" Pg. 11
- Jem is mad that his dad doesn't want to play football with him like all the other dads do with their sons.
- Boo Radley
- "I don't know what them kids are looking at"
- This was when the boy was making fun of Scout's dad Atticus for defending Tom Robinson.
- Calpurnia is the maid and takes are of the children. This shows that Calpurnia is a mother like figure to the children because they don't have a mother.
- This is what I think Boo Radley is like. I think he's pale because he has been locked up so long and I think he is aggravated and mean.
