  • Ahhh. This river sure is nice, but we've been here for a while. I think we need to take a very much needed journey. Don't you agree, Spot?
  • Arf! I would love to know what animals like me have to do with the water cycle.
  • Shh. Do you see that deer drinking water from the river over there Spot? Once it's finished drinking, the water evaporates from its body. That's called perspiration. Can you guess where the evaporated water goes?
  • I never knew that animals were so involved in the water cycle. And I think the evaporated water goes into the clouds.
  • Now it's lesson time! We got up here because the heat from the sun made the water evaporate into the clouds
  • You're correct! I can't believe we're in the clouds. Can you Spot?
  • Wait a minute. Where did Spot go. Oh no! "Spot, Spot, Spot" I'll find you.
  • Arf! It's so fun in the clouds. But I don't know where Susy is.
  • "Spot, Spot" OMG! I found you Spot! Don't do that to me again.
  • OK. Now it's lesson time again. OK, so we have to get down somehow. This is how, when the water in the clouds condenses it falls to the ground. This is called precipitation.
  • Wow! That's cool. Does the precipitation falls into bodies of water like lakes?
  • You're correct again Spot! You're a smart little pup. Did you know that this water can transform into a river? If you did't then it can! This is possible because water from lakes flows into rivers sometimes.
  • Cool! This water cycle journey lesson has been so much fun so far. We should do it every year! I think we should go to a river next.
