Storyboard Text
- "He is my brother and deny it as you will-your brother too. No one will ever convict me for a traitor."
- "If you fail to produce the criminals foe me, you'll swear your dirty money brought you pain"
- Oedipus killed Laius (his father). Then he took his father's job as king and married his mother and they had 4 children. Oedipus blinded himself with a jeweled pin.In the battle for Thebes, the brothers killed each other (Polyneices and Eteocles).Their uncle, Creon, took the Theban Throne.
- "Oh give way. Relax your anger change"
- Antigone tells her sister, Ismene, of her plans to bury her brother, Polynices. Ismene does not wish to aid Antigone because she is too scared to disobey the law forbidding Polyneice's burial.
- The king of Thebes, Creon, declares that anyone who disobeys his law shall be sentenced to death. A sentry comes to Creon and tells him that his law has been broken. Creon sends the sentry to find the rebel.
- "Ohhh, my crimes, so senseless, so insane. My stubborn , deadly-look at us, the killer , the killed, other and son, the same blood- the misery!".
- Haemon pleads his father to release Antigone. He tells him that the whole city wants her to be free and that the gods are against his decision. Creon, however, still refuses to spare Antigone.
- Antigone marches to her tomb where she is to be buried alive. She suddenly melts from the strong, determined woman to a vulnerable, scared girl, scared girl. She feels empty and alone.
- The blind prophet Tiresias finally convinces Creon to change his mind and free Antigone, but it is too late! Antigone has hung herself, which caused Haemon so much grief he killed himself as well. When Eurydice, Creon's wife, hears this, she too commits suicide. With no family left, Creon finally admits his wrongdoings and takes the blame for everything.
