- Vladimir Lenin was born in April 22, 1870 in Ulyanovsk, Russia. His parents were Ilya Ulyanov and Maria Alexandrova Ulyanova.
- HISTORY

- Lenin's parents valued education. His father, Ilya Ulyanov had to retire early due to threats from the Russian government, who were suspicious of how his teaching affected students. His mother was a physician.

- Lenin's brother, Alexander, was killed for planning an assassination against Emperor Alexandra III. This further fueled Lenin in his plans to overthrow Russia.

- Lenin was exiled and stayed at his grandpa's estate. There, he read radical literature and planned on how to overthrow the government. When he finally snuck back to Russia, he became the world's 1st leader of a communist state.
- Lenin has been expelled from school for participating in a student demonstration, exiled from Russia, experienced his father retire early, and his brother killed- because they wanted change. He believes in the power of people and what they could do together. He overthrew the Russian government with the help of everyone angry.
- During the time of his death, Lenin was facing major stress about trying to run his newly reformed state. The people were enraged at him. He suffered three strokes. These led to him losing the ability to speak, and eventually his death. he died on January 21, 1924.
