Syrian girl wakes up in the morning after hearing a gunshot outside her house. She runs to check on her siblings, making sure they were both okay and liked she'd hoped, they were.
After looking around her to find breakfast, she only ends up finding a few pieces of plain bread. She shares this amongst her siblings but they are all still very hungry after the bread is finished.
She goes out of town to obtain water for both herself and her siblings from a distant tap. Many are already waiting in line so she waits longer to have her turn but by the time it gets to her turn, there isn't much water left.
As she walks back home, she sees that many of the buildings in town have been destroyed from harmful weapons. Most of the shops are empty and the prices of food have been continuing to increase.
When she returns back to her siblings, she finds that one of them is severely injured. She instantly drops her bucket of water then runs to her brother.
The Syrian girl and her sister begins to cry knowing that there is nothing they can do about it. All the hospitals in town have already been destroyed and medical support cannot be found near the area.
