- Hello, in there. What's up tonight on Channel 4, Channel 7, Channel 9?
- In the year 2053, Leonard Mead likes to go for long walks during the night everyday. The streets are always silent and there is no one else outside but him. All, the houses that he walks by are dark and dead.
- Climax
- Stand still! Stay where you are! Don't move! Put your hands up! What is your name?
- Leonard Mead!
- Leonard Mead must be as quiet as possible when he walks so no one notices him walking as dogs bark and people are scared to hear someone walk outside. Leonard starts his walk one evening in a westerly direction.
- Falling Action
- On his walk, Leonard whispers to the houses and pretends to talk to them, he notices the poorly maintained sidewalk, the infrequent rusty lamplights and the sidewalks covered in grass. Theres no one in sight, no cars or people.
- Resolution
- A police car stops Leonard from walking. It questions Leonard on what he is doing outside, Leonard tells it just getting air and to see yet the police car could not believe it.
- The police car tells Leonard to get in the vehicle, Leonard protests but eventually gets in. As Leonard approaches the car he realizes that it's automated as there is no one inside the car. The police car tells him that he's going to a psychiatric center.
- Where are you taking me?
- Psychiatric Center for Research on Regressive Tendencies.
- The police car takes Leonard to the Psychiatric Center for Research on Regressive Tendencies, they pass Leonard's house which is the only brightly lit house in the whole dark city which he won't return to.
- That's my house.
