- Hopes manager,G.T runs for mayor against millstone to stop The Real Fresh Dairys tax evasion and other crimes that the mayor had been allowing
- Millstone starts argument
- The real fresh dairy is the best thing that ever happened to this town
- A few of the workers get involved in the politics of G.T's journey to become mayor

- G.T was succesfull in his mayor campaign ,thanks to the employees at the diner .
- Millstone is angry that he lost the role of mayor ,and starts a argument at the diner .
- G.T dies from his leukemia at the end of the story , leaving the diner to the current workers to own.
