- George is telling Slim about what happened back in weed.
- GEORGE:Back in Weed, Lennie loved soft and fluffy things, he would pet random objects.
- Slim:Then what happened??
- A visual of what happened in weed.
- Pretty.
- George:Then he held onto a girl's red dress. She told the law about us.
- The guys in weed started a party to find us.
- George:No. He just scared the crap out of her. He would never hurt anyone
- Slim understands that Lennie is not a bad guy.
- Slim:Did he hurt the girl?
- Lennie seems like a good guy.
- Lennie:Thinking about his and George ranch
- Curley:What the hell you laughing at !
- Curley notices Lennie smiling and he gets angry.
- George:Get him Lennie.
- Curley strikes Lennie. Slim wanted to step in but George stopped him.
- Lennie grabs Curley's hand and crushes it. He wouldn't let go.
- Curley promised not to tell anyone what happened.
- George:Let go of him Lennie!
