- People think that with all these people coming in, and then the government saying They can't be here cause they aren't British was a bit hypocritical and perhaps the downfall of the White Australia policy.

- I got to come from the options of many different countries, as Australia was advertising itself- to the globe. I often came with my family.

- An interesting theory is the one that because of the Snowy Hydro scheme (see above) people complained that the government was hypocritical for letting them in then saying they weren't worthy to be there anyway and that was the downfall of the White Australia Policy.

- Post War: Populate or Perish is an example of people taking advantage of hungry British people who didn't trust in their home-cities anymore. Many think this campaign was a way to attract more people to Australia to get more British and less of others.
