- France is at war with many countries in Europe right now. It also doesn't help that royalists and priests have turned against us too! So much violence!!
- Yeah, but all of us san-culottes are tired of all this inflation and food shortages! We are going to do something about it, and revolt! Let there be fighting!
- I can't believe we got caught and arrested for trying to escape! Now we are going to be executed because everyone thinks I am a traitor!
- I will be beheaded too because everyone is mad that I spend MY money to enjoy lavish things! They all just expect me to fix their issues! I am queen, I should have privileges!
- I am Maximilien Robespierre, and I shall lead this Committee of Safety. Since the King and Queen have now been executed, the convention has turned to us for help .However, in order for the revolution to accomplish its goals and for the issues in France to be solved, violence is necessary!
- For example, I have specially designed this guillotine that will be used to behead anyone who has supported the anti-revolution or who dares to rebel against us. This will instill enough fear in people for them to obey my rule.
- Even though you are the leader of the Committee of Safety, you have become too violent that it is becoming suspicious, and we are worried about the convention's power and safety. I order you to be beheaded on your own invention, the guillotine.
