- While I have been in Texas I have noticed a few things that concern me. Texans outnumber Mexicans 10 to 1, and The Texans have been trading with the US. It looks like Mexico has lost control of Texas.

- Now that I have returned to Mexico I will tell you about what I saw in Texas. It turns out we are losing control over Texas. Texans outnumber us Mexicans, 10 to 1, and the Texans are trading with the US. I think that we need to enforce stricter laws to ensure that the Texans are following our rules.
- Yes, with what you have said I think we need to create more laws to maintain control over the Texans.

- We have finally completed writing the Law of April 6, 1830. This outlawed immigration, canceled empresarial settlements, added tax on US goods, and banned slaves coming into Mexico. Hopefully this will teach the Texans a lesson.

- I cannot believe that Mexico passes the Law of April 6, 1830. If we don' t have slaves then we cant produce cotton, the new taxes are hurting our economy, a lot more Mexican soldiers are monitoring us, and this makes me feel really wronged and betrayed.

- You are under arrest for challenging the Mexican Government. This is because of the letter you sent ordering your people to go ahead and begin organizing a state government.

- Now that I have been released from prison I have something important to tell everyone. While I was in prison I realized that Mexicans and Texans are never going to be able to end their disagreements peacefully. I think it's time we take action, and go to war.
