- When road networks were few and travel was difficult thousands of years ago, travelers arriving in a distant place had to depend on their camping abilities or the charity of a local to find refuge.
- It was largely inns and taverns supplying basic lodgings to tired visitors throughout the period of pilgrimage and the establishment of important commercial routes all through Europe.
- Until the 18th century, when technical advancement and the development of speedier and more dependable forms of transportation made long distance travel accessible to a larger audience.
- With the inflow of huge numbers of foreigners into major cities, the requirement for lodging led to the establishment of the first modern hotels. Since then, the sector has had practically uninterrupted development and worldwide expansion.
- The rise of new technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and the internet of things (IoT) means that businesses are now confronted with the problem of transferring their service into the digitalization era, which is increasingly crucial for society now.
- To make my dreams a reality, I will use my thoughts and knowledge to benefit the future society. I understand that we live in an advanced world where technology are increasing and it is much more difficult with the pandemic, but I feel that these innovations will enable us to have more opportunities and contribute to a good life.
