  • The Metis people are very worried about their rights with Canada now having Ruperts Land.
  • So our rights, our land all gone?
  • Well educated man named Louis Riel comes forward, and sticks up for his people. So with Louis Riel they makes a provisional goverment.

  • Thomas Scott was sentenced to death by Louis Riel. Because he wasn't even trying to reason with Riel.

  • Louis Riel and the Metis have now killed Thomas Scott. Which had now really let the Canada know who they think Louis Riel really is.

  • After being in United States for 15 years. He'd come back for a second rebellion but was stopped by Canada, and charged with treason, he was killed by hanging.
