- G2- 3rd base, the cell is like a player getting a triple, its making copies of DNA, getting everything in order before the big play
- S- Second base, the cell is like a player stealing 2nd base, its making copies of DNA preparing for division which is a important part of cell cycle just like stealing a base
- M phase (Mitosis)- this is the biggest part of the Game, A home run. The cell divides just like a player rounding the bases and scoring. The cells genetic material splits in half
- G1- first base, the cell is deciding if it will divide or not, just like a player is deciding what his next move will be on the base paths
- Prophase in mitosis is like the kickoff in football—it marks the beginning of intense action and sets the stage for the main event. Just as players position themselves on the field, chromosomes arrange themselves in prophase to ensure a smooth progression. It's the moment when everything gears up for the game, with each player ( chromosome) ready for their specific role.
