- Hai Amirah nice to see you. Actually i still confused about our assignment topic, can you explain it to me?

- Can you explain to me what are the major activities that involved in analysis phase?
- There are two major activities involved in analysis phase. First is conduct preliminary investigation which is also known as feasibility study. This phase is to determine the exact nature of the problem or improvement and decide.
- What about the second major activity?
- The second major activity is perform details analysis which is called logical design and involve three major activities which are study how the current system works, determine the users wants, needs, and requirements and lastly is recommend a solution.
- Oh i see. Now can you explain about the major activities involved in design phase?
- There are also two major activities involved in this phase. First is acquire hardware and software. This activity involved 4 major task which are identify technical specifications, soliciting vendor proposal, testing and evaluating vendor proposals and lastly making decision.
- If i'm not mistaken the second major activity for design phase is detail design right?
- Yes that's correct Nurul. This major activity also called physical design. It is requires specific hardware and software, develop design for the database, inputs, outputs and programs. The activities to perform include prototyping, case tools and quality reviews technique.
