- Pablo is a giraffe and he's trying to find the perfect tree to eat off of. He's standing 11 feet away from the tree. He wants to know how high the tree is. He's looking at the tree from an angle of 70. He uses trig and finds out that cos(70)x 11= 4ft
- since the tree is too high he decides to find another tree. He's sad because he doesn't have a tree to eat from and while he's walking he finds another tree. The tree is 9 ft tall and he's standing at an angle of 80. He uses trig to see how far he is. He find out that 9/sin(80)= 8.86. He is about 9ft away.
- Pablo keeps looking for trees but doesn't find any so now he's sad but decides to keep looking
- Pablo find lots of trees that are all the same height. He decides to try to eat one last time and uses trig to figure out if this is the perfect tree. Since he is 2 ft away from the 2 ft tree he finds out that tan -1 (2/2) = 45. This makes it the perfect tree.
- He tells his family about the trees he found and they all get to eat.
