- 1. Hello, I am a farmer that has started owning a mango orchard, can you advise me on what to do and what is needed? I just started being a farmer.
- 3. To plant a mango orchard, you need to know what kind of soil to use, how much water to use, how to plant it and more.
- 5. Ok let me explain how to plant it.
- 4. Ok I understand. I want to learn how to plant it first.
- 6. This is how you plant it. First, you eat your mango and save the pit. Then cut the pit apart and and pull the seed out. Then the seed will be ready to be planted. After 10 days or 2 weeks, you should see a shoot start to grow. Just wait a while and you will have a mango tree
- 7. Thats was easy, now lets go on what type of soil to use.
- 8. The best soil to use for planting a mango tree is loam soil because loam soil drains more easier
- 9. Ok now I know what soil to use, now lets go on how much water to use.
- 10. A mango tree needs 30-35 litres of water while a young mango tree needs 9-12 litres of water for better growth.
