- I Anton Van Leeuwenhoek found single cells organisms by looking in a pond of water and barrel drain water with a simple microscope with one lense. I shall call them Animalcules,

- I Robert Hooke looked at plant cells with a compound microscope with two lenses. I discovered that cork trees are made of tiny boxes that look like monk cells. Ooo I shall call them cells.

- 200 YEARS LATERMagnification got better on the microscope and technology upgraded.
- Plants are made of cells (1830's)
- I Mathias Schleiden Study plants and I have recently discovered that they are made of cells. I learned that all plant cells have a similar shape, color, and size. I used a compound microscope.

- I Rudolph Virchow looked at all the other scientists experiments, and I asked myself how do we make more cells? I used the compound microscope . Then I researched for a while and found discovered that all cells come from preexisting cells.
