#160;I will bless her and will surely give you a son by her.

God calls Abraham to a journey in faith and a promise is made.
Genesis 22
Abraham shows generosity in his dealings with the Lord, and the promise is renewed as the#160;covenant is sealed.
Exodus 20:1–21#160;
You shall have no other God's before me.Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven images.#160;Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain. ...Remember the Sabbath day and keep it Holy. ...Honor your father and mother. ...Thou shalt not kill. ...Thou shalt not commit adultery. ...Thou shalt not steal.
God speaks to Abraham#160; implementing some demands on him and his household through the covenant relationship, God makes the promise that 'Sarah will bear to you by this time next year'#160; I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him.
Exodus 24:1–8#160;
Abraham’s faith in God’s ability to keep the covenant is tested through God requesting that Abraham sacrifice his son,#160; as Abraham is about to do as God told him, God#160; steps in and since Abraham showed his devotion to the convent he scarifies#160;the lamb instead
God gives the Law through the 10 commandments .#160; Moses acted as the messenger#160;Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. God has come to test you, so that the fear of God will be with you to keep you from sinning.”
The people agree to the Covenant.#160; Moses continued#160;to spread the word of God,#160;#160;#160;Moses went and told the people all the Lord’s words and laws, writing down everything that the lord said.#160;
