- The story begins with Barnum and Charity wanting to be together when they were kids but hes poor and shes wealthy and people are trying to stop their love. She takes a leap of faith and goes with Barnum anyways and starts a new life in new York with kids.
- Climax/Tightrope
- In this scene Barnum is telling the circus to follow their dreams no matter what they look like. He is trying to encourage them to love themselves and think of themselves of unique and beautiful not weird and castaways.
- Falling Action /From now on
- The song this is me shows that you should stay strong no matter what people think of you and be confident in yourself even if your different from everyone else. Everyone wants to deny them and make them outcasts but their staying strong no matter what others say. Barnum was the only one who cared and loved them like their normal but he just shut them out of the party.
- Resolution/ The Greatest Show
- The song tight rope shows how Barnum and Charitys relashinship is getting a little bit rught. He is also leaving charity and their kids to go do the show so shes sad.
- The meaning from the song from now on is that life isn't just about money but happiness. In this song it is explaining how Barnum is trying to give the circus hope and excited.
- The song the greatest show shows that happiness and family is better than money. Barnum's goal in the begining for this song is to create the greatest show which was his dream and now he has it.
