- In the Before, the world was a swirling egg of chaos, Ying and Yang thrashed together.
- However, when the egg burst open at last, the great dragon, Pan-gu erupted from the shell.

- Pan-gu worked as he created the world for 18'000 years and as his exhausted, dead body fell to the ground, making huge mountains. His skull made the top of the sky, his hair flowers and plants and his legs and arms made the 4 directions. His eyes were the sun and moon.
- Pan-gu tossed raw light into the sky he had made to create stars, he stamped out mountains and flat earth.
- The half-dragon goddess, Nuwa was born from the mixture of Yin and Yang after Pan-gu died. She was the only living creature on earth, and she was lonely.
- She decided to make some beings to accompany her.
- As soon as Nuwa set her little man onto the ground, he started leaping, singing and talking! Excited by her work, she started making more and more humans.
- She knelt at the edge of the Yellow River and started forming humans from the wet clay. Her people were not made in her image as a dragon tail was MUCH less practical than legs.
- She made thousands of humans! However, she soon realised that it would take her millennia to make enough people to populate the whole world.
- Nuwa grabbed a muddy stick and shook it so the mud drops flew through the air. As the Sun dried it, the mud became either a man or woman.
- Nuwa sent forth her children to populate the earth, she watched over them for eternity and was named the mother of humans.
- It was said that those shaped personally by Nuwa's own divine hands became powerful leaders, but people created from the mere drops of mud were average people.
