- Sure! His full name was Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, he was born on July 18, 1918 in Mvezo, South Africa and died on December 5, 2013, Houghton, Johannesburg, South Africa
- Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela was a lawyer, rebel leader and president of South Africa from 1994 to 1999, considered the most important leader of Black Africa, winner of the 1993 Nobel Peace Prize, and father of the modern South African nation, where he is commonly referred to as Madiba or "Tata".
- Until 2009, he had devoted 67 years of his life to the cause he championed as a human rights lawyer and for which he was held captive by a regime of racial segregation, until he was elected the first president of free South Africa.
- He studied law and, together with Oliver Tambo, founded the first black-led law firm in South Africa in 1952.Mandela was South Africa's first democratically elected president, putting an end to the racially segregated regime.
- Mandela preached forgiveness and reconciliation, denying a policy of revenge against whites. He wanted to build, in his words, a “rainbow nation”, of all colors, of all races, in which blacks and whites could walk with their heads held high.
