Storyboard Text

  • The Lord God created the Earth and the Heavens, and springs to water all the land. Then, God created a garden in the east, in Eden, and there he placed the man he made, and breathed life into the man, who he named Adam.
  • God warned the man: You may eat the fruit of every tree in the garden, except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If you eat its fruit, you will die. God did not want Adam to be lonely, so he created all the wild animals, and he wanted Adam to have a helper. So, God took out one of the man's ribs and made a woman from it.
  • Adam, and the woman, who Adam named Eve,
  • God created water sources like springs to nurture our planet, and if we are careless and pollute them, we harm the work God has done. Water is very important for plants, animals, and for the Earth, and when we dispose of our waste improperly, we will harm all three.
  • If we are careless and make poor waste management decisions, and don't think before we do, we can easily contribute to our planet's harm. Take this scene for example: This person doesn't think throwing away their spare paper down a drain will cause a problem. But what they don't know is that drains lead to natural water sources. Every time we carelessly throw something away it can lead to that waste finding itself in water.
  • Who cares if a little paper goes in the sewers? It won't do anything wrong, right?
  • If we try and educate others on their careless waste management, we can help our planet and fulfill God's wishes. Instead of being a bystander, try to correct poor waste management decisions made by your friends! For example, lets say your friend is about to throw an old bottle into a drain. You could tell them that the same bottle will end up in a water source, and harm the planet, which would make God upset! Chances are, they might correct their actions and dispose of the old bottle properly!
  • Hey, John! Instead of throwing that water bottle down the storm drain and harming the Earth, why dont we go put it in the recycling!
  • Sure Luke!
