- This time attack the fort all at once!
- We're out of ammo?!
- On June 17, 1775, the British marched on Breed's Hill, the British lost miserably. They seriously underestimated the good war strategies of the Colonists and lost a lot of men.
- Yes! RUN!
- The colonists' strategy was to save their ammo and "not fire until they could see the whites of their eyes" so that the British would not be able to retreat once they fired.
- OW!
- Oh no Jimmy!
- The second attack was also a failure, but on the third attempt, the British focused everything they had on the fort.
- Because the Colonists were running out of ammo, many resorted to running away or simply hitting the British with their guns.
- With all of the Colonists exposed, this is where the most casualties occurred.
- This was a physical victory for the British, but a moral victory for the Colonists, because it showed that they could be a match against the British.
