  • At the Battle of Trenton, the Continental Army won victoriously. The Hessian army was crushed, and since this battle seemed like such an easy win it boosted the moral of Americans.

  • The Battle of Saratoga was the turning point of the American Revolution. The French decided to join the fight against Britain when they saw the Continental Army's determination to defeat Britain, and because they had a common enemy,

  • During the Winter of 1777-1778, the Continental Army camped at Valley Forge. At this camp, there were [Patriot] women and children who followed their family members who had enlisted into the army. This is also where our army truly became a fighting unit.

  • The Battle of Bunker Hill was the first important battle of the American Revolution. It was a British victory, but it was still a win for the Americans to an extent because the moral of the Continental Army was boosted. They believed they probably could have won the battle if they hadn't run out of ammunition.
