Military officials had complete power to abuse the people.
Absolute Monarchy
The people look to us as their leader and we are the head of everything.
Nobody and everybody is in control. No laws, leaders, morals. The people do not want any government involvement. This can be dangerous because there is no punishment for crimes. As an anarchist you have to be able to take care of yourself.
Dictatorship
I control everything that goes in and out of the ports.
A junta is a small group of people who rule a country after taking it over by force. From 1962-2011, Myanmar was ruled by a military junta that was condemned by the world for its human rights violations they committed against the people.
Theocracy
An absolute monarchy is a form of government in which a single person, usually a king or queen holds absolute, autocratic power. King Louis XIV, the king of France from 1643–1715 was an absolute monarchy. It was a popular form of government back then.
Republic
Where a dictator exercises absolute power on its citizens' life. The people will usually suffer under the dictators control. North Korea is a modern example of this, the Kim family has ruled for years.
A theocracy is a government that recognizes God or a divine beingas the ultimate authority. The world has one remaining Christian theocracy, the Vatican City. It's the global headquarters of the Catholic Church. It is ruled by the Pope who is technically an absolute monarch.
We believe in religious laws and punishments.
A form of government in which a state is ruled by representatives of the citizen body. The citizens have supreme power. They vote for electing people to represent them. There are many different types of republics.
I am able to vote for electives that make decisions for me while staying home.
