- Exposition- a million dreams
- Inciting incident- come alive
- Rising action- rewrite the stars
- P.T. Barnum falls in love with Charity, a girl who comes from a wealthy background. Barnum comes from poverty. They want to spend the rest of their lives together but society says otherwise. Charity knows that Barnum has big dreams and she wants to be apart of them.
- Climax- Never Enough
- Barnum starts his career. Tickets to his show are selling out and he is doing great. he has found different people from all over to be a part of his show, or circus.
- Falling action- from now on
- Philip falls for Anne but Anne feels as though they can't be together. It is frowned upon for two races to be together but Philip thinks it can work.
- Resolution- the greatest show
- Jenny Lenn feels betrayed, she is confused with her feelings for Barnum and this causes her to quit in the middle of their tour. Barnum realizes something.
- Barnum is back from his trip and things back home have started to fall apart. he realizes he lost sight of the things that really matter. He starts a new begining.
- The show was back in business but Barnum was unsure he wanted to keep up with his career. He gives his position to Philip. Barnum then goes to spend time with his family and loved ones. The end.
