- They also created the Cyclegraphic analysis and Chronocyclegraphic Analysis tools for analysing an operator's motion pathways.
- They developed the technique of filming motion that knows as Micro-Motion study.
- Lilian was dead in 1972 at the age of 93.
- Lilian, who had received a PhD in Psychology and had been a more than equal colleague, continued on her own after Gilbreth's death (at the age of 55), developing the concept of job simplification, particularly for the physically handicapped.
