People connected with the FIRST NATIONS by transportations such as boats and ships. They also connected by communication for example, the people trading for there goods may have to learn another language, because they are not always going to be trading people that speak there language.
In conclusion, we know that many of the fur traders wanted to get there goods so they had to make deals with other people to get there items. Sometimes it is challenging to make deals if they don't speak the language you are speaking. We also transported with big ships to get our goods across land.
