- 2. FInally 🙄3.Now.. are you going to tell me the mysterious secret... why am I ghost?
- 1. FINE I'M AWAKE...4. Okay. It will be a long one though... it all starts with the beginning of the Cretaceous Period...

- It was so warm compared to today that there was no ice anywhere. During the Cretaceous period, world oceans were much higher - 330 to 660 feet more than present. I wouldn't swim though.

- B: Small Animals(mammals) bird evolved and roamed the skies like the pterosaurs, and in marine life, these weird long necks called the Elasmosaurus.

- Ghost stumbles to the entrance of sleepy glob... unfortunately...Glob is old an cranky historian Glob if you wake him up. (Glob forgot he was going to talk to ghost)

- NOTE: Ghost and Blob are friends and Blob always forget to wake up early because....well he's old and Blob ( Typical thing to happen)

- 🎶The early Cretaceous was a fun time for their weird-looking animals called the dinosaurs and insects that could fly, roam, and swim. They were huge and weighed tons because the oxygen levels were out of this world. Today, oxygen levels are more 30% compared to 20% because of the variety of vegetation in the found in ocean and land. Nature said go big or go home... WELL, not for long!🎶
- 🎶The carbon cycle balances the Earth's ecosystem by moving carbon between the atmosphere, oceans, and land. Oceans absorb carbon dioxide, and marine creatures like plankton and shellfish use it to build their shells. Their remains sink to the ocean floor when they die and become buried in sedimentary rocks, which led to the formation of fossil fuels like coal, oil, and natural gas!🎶
- 🎶It turns out that CO2 levels during the mid-Cretaceous were 4-5 times higher than what we have now, resulting in a surface temperature of 20-21°C. Sounds warm and tropical, right? We also discovered that this warm climate was due to tectonic forces that caused enhanced CO2 degassing and organic carbon burial rates. We also learned that the organic carbon burial rates during the Cretaceous were generally larger than those for the Cenozoic and had three major peaks corresponding to the major oceanic anoxic events. 🎶
- 🎶 In the Early Cretaceous, Iguanodontia were among the first dinosaurs to develop complex chewing mechanisms. Herbivorous dinosaurs could have acted as ecosystem engineers by spreading plant seeds through their feces while moving around their habitat. The largest reptile was the titanosaurus rwar 🎶

- 🎶 B: During the Cretaceous Period, there were changes in the earth's rocks and sediments—mountains formed with volcanoes and molten rocks, and sediment accumulated on their slopes. Igneous rocks of the Cretaceous age are exposed in many parts of the world. Shallow seas covered much of the land, creating swampy conditions allowing fossil fuels to accumulate. Coal-bearing strata exist in Siberia, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, and the western United States. Chalk rock and Urgonian limestone are widespread in different parts of the world.🎶
- Monotrematum sudamericanum lived in Patagonia about 61-63 million years ago when South America, Australia, and Antarctica were part of Gondwana.
