- Since we spent all our money on the war that we lost, we need a new source of income

- After the seven year war ws which the french lost both the british and french lost a lot of money, The KIng had to find a way to earn back the money the lost so he decide to tax the third estates.
- The tennis ball oath
- We want justice and we will not stop until we get it
- After the news broke out about the new taxes the third estates were not happy about this new change they though it was unfair how they were the only ones being taxed while the first and second estate were not.
- Reign of Terror
- At the meeting the first and second estate were not listening to hat the third estates were talking about so they decided to form their own group called the national assembly and few weeks later they drew up the declaration of the Right of man and citizen
- Napoleon takes over

- The Tennis Court Oath was made buy the third estate which states they would not disband until a new french constitution had been adopted.
