- Ok so the teacher asked us to make a project about the environment, how would you guys want it?
- We could talk about the ecosystem and how it maintains balance
- That'd be perfect!
- OK, so first off let's start with the main ideas, that is ecosystem maintains balance through the organisms on it
- We could add that these organisms interact with each other through predation of each other in order to keep others in balance!
- We can also include the part in how the environment's changes also changes these organisms such as when a volcanic eruption occurs
- we should explain as to how the animals adapt to their environment
- We most likely need to explain how animals go extinct and it's effects on the local ecosystem
- yeah! we probably need to write it that animals go extinct due to natural selection or due to human intervention. The effects of an animal's extinction could cause a disruption in the food chain.
- and said disruption could cause extinction of the predators of the now extinct prey!
- and that would be a massive damage to the ecosystem, which is why we should take care of the environment!
- ok, that was a good discussion session, we should discuss this next time, it's almost time for the next class!
- oh yeah, it seems we discussed so much that we forgot about the time!
